Dr. Kathy Russeth is dual board-certified in General/Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has worked in multiple settings in the state including inpatient, day treatment, academic/teaching, community engagement, and private clinic settings. Dr. Russeth is passionate about understanding the intricate balance between intrapsychic and interpersonal factors, as well as the systemic and structural impacts on well-being and function. She believes that no single factor holds all the answers and that a comprehensive understanding of all these aspects is essential. She has served on leadership, governance, and ethics committees in various organizations, and she hopes to continue to provide support and guidance in her role as Councilor-at-large in the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association and Dane County Medical Society and as Secretary at of the Wisconsin Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She combines the rigor of conventional medicine with a profound belief in holistic healing and demonstrates an unwavering dedication to patient-centered care.
