Hello WPA Members, 
I am honored to be working with the Executive Council representing you in Madison. By way of limited introduction, I wanted to take a moment to share some of my background. I am an attorney by training and spent 4 years in private law practice before choosing a slightly different career path. Having spent time working in the Capitol as an undergraduate, in 1998 I decided to pursue a career as a lobbyist and legislative counsel. My father is an internist and professor at the Medical School here in Madison, so when an opportunity opened up at the Wisconsin Medical Society I jumped at it. Career opportunities led me away from WMS, and I am happy to be back working with a profession I respect, and with a group in whom I see so much political potential.
