A bill has been introduced into the Wisconsin State Senate to allow psychologists independent medical practice in the form of prescribing privileges and the ability to direct nurses to carry out medical orders. If you disagree with this dangerous and reckless legislation, it is imperative that the WPA offices have your current email address in order to facilitate the rapid transmission of information. Your emails will not be shared with other organizations. The WPA has other forms of rapid transmission of information available including fax, email, twitter and Facebook. Please update the WPA office using the web form below to update this information. We will need every member and non-member psychiatric physician in the state to be engaged in this process if we hope to head this off for this year.
